Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: 2026-07-30

Purpose

This Acceptable Use Policy explains prohibited and discouraged behavior on RoadPlan Studio so the Service stays reliable for travelers and tripmates.

Prohibited activities

Do not attempt unauthorized access to accounts, databases, or infrastructure.

Do not overload the Service with automated scraping, bulk account creation, or abusive API-like traffic.

Do not upload malware, phishing content, or illegal material.

Do not harass other users through invites, comments, or shared trip content.

Do not misrepresent affiliation with RoadPlan Studio.

Maps & rate limits

Place search and directions depend on third-party quotas. Excessive automated querying may be throttled or blocked to protect the Service and provider limits.

Enforcement

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this policy, and we may remove content that puts users or the platform at risk.

Discover

Drive the world, one region at a time.

Browse continents, then open a template built for local driving rules, seasons and overnight geometry.

Map-first road trip planning

RoadPlan Studio turns multi-day drives into honest itineraries — distances, daylight, overnight towns and tripmate permissions in one canvas. Plan as a guest, then save to the cloud when the route feels real.

International self-drive itineraries

Remix templates for Western Canada, Iceland’s Ring Road, the European Alps, Hokkaido autumn loops, New Zealand’s South Island, Patagonia, Scotland and more — with local season and driving-side context.

Built for how trips actually unfold

Reorder stops, keep lodging anchors stable, and share viewer or editor access with tripmates. Pair Discover templates with destination guides and field notes from the blog before you collect the rental.
